Mexican Honey lands back on shelves next week!

Did you hear the buzz? Mexican Honey makes its return on the first of May. Refreshing and dangerously smooth as ever, our award-winning Imperial Lager is back in 16 oz. cans and on draft. Yep, it’s officially fiesta time.

Mexican Honey gets its name from its specialty ingredient (you guessed it), imported Mexican Orange Blossom Honey. Every 30-barrel batch is carefully brewed with 450 pounds of honey and a healthy dose of Amarillo hops, giving our Imperial Lager a satisfying sweetness that’s offset by citrus and floral notes. A highly anticipated and crowd-pleasing favorite, Mexican Honey will be available through the summer. Drink it now or pack that honey away for winter hibernation, this beer is good to age for up to one year. Winner of the Silver Medal in the Specialty Honey Beer category at the Great American Beer Festival, Mexican Honey remains a charming cerveza that’s all buzz, no bite.

Since we’re just in time for Cinco De Mayo, we’ll be buzzing over to Jefe Urban Hacienda on May 5th from 4pm to 10pm in celebration of our Imperial Lager. We’ll sip on Mexican Honey while we enjoy live music, Mexican street fare, and patio weather (fingers crossed!). And don’t miss a $10 beer bump special at Bulldog Uptown featuring a 12 oz pour of Mexican Honey and a shot of Don Julio Blanco tequila, flowing all month long.

Mexican Honey will be released the week of May 1st in the Twin Cities area and beyond. It is available in 16 oz cans and on draft through the summer months.
