Welcome to seventh heaven. We’re proud to present the juicy red ruby we call Wooden Soul 7, a Raspberry Cherry Sour Red Ale. Aged for nearly two years and fermented on fruit, this brew weighs in at 5.4% ABV and 12 IBU, and is an eruption of tart fruitiness – a sour fruit bomb for the soul.

The latest in our robust barrel-aged sour program, Wooden Soul 7 was drawn from red wine barrels, where it aged for nearly 22 months, before it spent three months fermenting on over 1,100 total pounds of whole raspberries and tart red cherries. When you’re sipping a Wooden Soul 7, you’re tasting a creation over two years in the making.

Hold a glass of this cherry red ale under your nose, and inhale a choir of intense raspberry and blossom notes that fade into a citrus funk. Take a sip, and taste the blast of fruity tartness that only a half-ton of raspberries and cherries could deliver, before a drying tannin finish wanders across your palate. Though it plays sister sour to our Wood-aged Red Ale, Wooden Soul 6, this beer is crafted to be in a world of it’s own. We hope our expressive seventh sour leaves you feeling lucky.
