Are you ready to get Whirly? Indeed Brewing Company proudly presents Whirlygig 2016, our annual spring bash on Art-a-Whirl weekend with a killer lineup curated by our friends at First Avenue. From Friday May 20th to Sunday May 22nd, let’s get together and celebrate our vibrant Northeast neighborhood with three days of beer, food, and music. As Northeast’s oldest taproom and a proud member of NEMAA, this is the brewery’s biggest weekend of the year! Come down and help us do it up right. It’s gonna be a whirly good time.

THE BEER

Say hello to a beautiful stranger: ‘LSD’ returns, now with a much longer, government-approved name. Joining this bad boy in its new 16oz can are all your favorite Indeed beers, with a two-sided draft trailer, outdoor can stations, and both taprooms open inside. Keep your cool with a crisp pint of Shenanigans, tart it up with something from Wooden Soul, or snag a Day Tripper tallboy and post up stage-side. Thirsty creatures of all kinds welcome!

THE FOOD

Blucys and tots and wieners, oh my. The Blue Door Pub will be getting Whirly with sliders and a DIY totcho bar, plus Natedogs will joining the party and slinging his signature tubed meats! Take your pick, fuel up, and whirl on.

THE ART

Did you know that our building is chock full of studios and galleries showcasing talented local artists? Or that the one and only Chuck U (creator of our can art) will be on-site at Indeed for Whirlygig? The entire Solar Arts Building will be three floors of fun, and with Northrup King across the tracks and Quincy Ave overflowing with talent, you’ll be smack dab in the middle of some amazing art. Take it all in. It is Art-a-Whirl weekend, after all!

THE EXTRAS

Back by popular demand, MN Brewery Running Series will be hosting a 5k run to kick off the third and final day of Whirlygig on Sunday May 22nd; run, walk, skip, there will still be a beer at the end for you no matter how long it takes. For all your kodak moments, Blue Goose Photo Booth will be onsite for all three days! Get ready to put your best face forward.

THE ‘FINE PRINT’

This event is CASH ONLY, inside and out. We will party RAIN OR SHINE (that’s what the giant tent is for!). Wristbands will be required for entry for $1 with proceeds benefitting Indeed We Can. The party runs during regular taproom hours: Friday May 20th 12-11pm, Saturday May 21st 12-11pm, Sunday May 22nd 12-8pm. Please leave your fur babies at home for this crowded, hot asphalt event. Human babies and kids are welcome, if they can hang.
