Twin Cities On-Premise Key Account Manager

The Twin Cities On-Premise Key Account Manager will be tasked with managing Indeed’s strategic partnerships throughout the Metro – collaborating with the Indeed team and our distributors to develop mutually beneficial relationships with on-premise retailers. This job reports to the Director of Sales Experience and is based out of our office in Northeast Minneapolis.

The ideal candidate loves the Twin Cities and is passionate about how food and drink create the culture here. They need to be comfortable in bars and restaurants, basements and coolers, bar stools and patios. Above all, they will have a strong desire to contribute to the community around them and commit to building partnerships that put beer at the center of that.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a defined territory of new and existing key on-premise accounts and increase sales and rate-of-sale through partnerships, events, brand activations, sponsorships, and more.
  • Expand Indeed’s market-share in non-traditional on-premise spaces including music and sports venues, theaters, museums, large-scale events, airlines, etc.
  • Identify new business opportunities and retail partnerships.
  • Represent Indeed beer and beyond-beer products to on-premise retail accounts.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with customers and wholesalers.
  • Collaborate closely with distributor reps to execute promotions and drive sales.
  • Accomplish annual sales goals, maintain budget, problem-solve, and record activities to maintain an efficient, organized, profitable, and productive work schedule.
  • Track successes and impact through quantitative and qualitative measurements
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years experience in sales or customer service.
  • On-Premise adult beverage sales strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the local craft beer market, consumers, and retailers.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • High aptitude for learning and a willingness to grow and evolve.
  • Understanding of ROI evaluation on hard and soft goods, services, and events.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Calendar, etc.).
  • Experience with CRM tools – VIP/Karma preferred.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Reliable vehicle and insurance, clean driving record.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Full time hours (approx. 40 hours/week) with frequent nights and weekends
  • Occasional large-scale events and festivals as needed.
  • Work Environment: 70% In-Market and Events, 30% Office Setting
