Off The Dock – Society of Chemists

a free summer concert series on your favorite northeast patio
September 8th
Society of Chemists
Society of Chemists features the talents of Stephanie Wieseler (saxophone, flute, keys, compositions), Jack Barrett (piano/synth), Charlie Bruber (electric and upright bass), and Ben Ehrlich (drums). Classically structured with the brevity of pop, the group has had numerous singles featured on Jazz88 through radio airplay and their “Local Hot Single” spotlight. Notable live performances include the main stage of the Twin Cities Jazz Festival and multiple appearances at North Loop’s Berlin. Bandleader Stephanie Wieseler describes the group’s sound as “chamber jazz fusion,” expressing the thrill of experimentation and the joy of scientific discovery. Inspiration originates from how Minnesota feels in summertime, the splendor of nature itself, and the affirmation that each season is a wonder.
