David Feily
David Feily is a Twin Cities–based guitarist and composer whose electrifying, groove-driven sound blends jazz, funk, R&B, rock, and global influences into a dynamic live experience. Known for his expressive improvisation and phrasing, Feily moves seamlessly from intricate melodic lines to high-energy, syncopated grooves that connect with audiences across genres.
A highly sought-after performer, Feily has toured and collaborated with artists including LA Buckner, Minneapolis String Project, Steve Cole, Lucia Sarmiento, BZ3 Organ Trio, The Steeles, and Rhythm Street Movement. His versatility as a multi-instrumentalist, educator, musical director, arranger, and producer has helped made him a staple in the local music scene.
Recently David released Thunderground: a jazz-fusion EP showcasing his evolving voice as a composer and bandleader. Whether leading his own project or supporting another artist on stage, his performances deliver a compelling mix of technical precision, spontaneity, and soulful energy.
