Mahjong – your new hobby! Sign up today! Classes are taught by Lisa-Marie Stienessen who has taught thousands of people all sorts of new hobbies and skills. She brings this addictive game to you in a fun, relaxed environment to give you the confidence to learn the rules with ease.
If you already know the basics of American Mahjong, this is your next step! In these sessions, participants will have a short lesson followed by open play. All materials will be provided including a 2026 “training wheels” card but you can feel free to bring your own. The lesson portion will focus on tricky rules likes Jokers/Exposures, Charleston strategy, identifying a category a line and pivoting. Then the rest of the session will be open play.
