Milwaukee-based singer / songwriter / guitarist
With a guitar, a voice, and layers of live instrumental looping, Ellen Vareldzis uses deep, authentic musical expression to envelop listeners in dynamic soundscapes.
For as long as she’s been creating music, Ellen uses sound as a channel through which she understands her internal and external world. Infusing various musical genres to develop her own unique sound, Ellen’s music connects listeners to a collective dream, a visceral nostalgia, a window of introspection, and swells of feeling.
Since 2022, Ellen has been a student of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, where she continues to explore her instrument.
She is also the lead guitarist for the Milwaukee project 16 Levels which plays a monthly residency at Canni Café in Walker’s Point.
