BuckSlam is the Twin Cities' only monthly poetry slam, and this Summer, their new season is being held right down the hall in the Ox Taproom! That's right, BuckSlam is BACK for the 2025-26 season, in the Ox, every second Wednesday of the month. Up to twelve performers will duke it out in a two-round battle of poetry for a chance to win ONE ENTIRE DOLLAR and a shot at the crown. So grab a buck, grab a buddy, grab a beverage, and come experience some original poetry at 6:30pm.

Every month, Indeed supports a local organization doing good in our community. On the last Wednesday of each month, 100% of the taproom proceeds for the day go to that organization. In February, we're partnering with All Square!
“Heat Check” is a beat battle presented by Minneapolis producer and artist, Griswald, hosted in the Ox Taproom. This battle will feature four seasoned producers going toe-to-toe in an on-the-spot beat making competition. In each of the two rounds, producers will be given 20 minutes to make an original beat incorporating a sample provided by the host. They then present their beat to the crowd, and the winner is decided by popular vote and awarded Indeed-sponsored prizes. The pressure’s on & the vibes are high.
A killer lineup of local funny people will have you laughing late into the night, with a variety of beers, comedy-enhancing THC selzters, and NA options available. Late Night Comedy is held in the Ox at Indeed Minneapolis and is hosted by Max Chapman.
Sponsored by The Trylon Cinema and The Heights Theater, Film Friends Movie Trivia is hosted on the first Monday of every month by friend-of-the-brewery Naomi Osborn. Win prizes for first, second, and third place.
