Cask Ales
Our cask ales merge the best of old world tradition with modern innovation. Traditionally, cask ales are served at 55 degrees and are slightly oxidized from outside air entering the cask as it is served. Here at Indeed, we're breaking tradition to serve you the best quality beer possible. Many of our casks are hop forward ales, and we serve them between 35 to 40 degrees, preventing much of the off flavors that can arise from hoppy ales served at traditional cask temperatures. We also ensure our cask ales never touch oxygen - a beer's arch nemesis.
Our casks are served through a modern day cask breather system that eliminates all oxygen in the serving process, and then pulled through a traditional beer engine (the black handles sticking up from the bar), so that we truly have the best of both worlds.
